Frequently Asked Questions
I practice an integrative approach to therapy. This means that I model my practice through the integration of more than one therapy modality. Some theoretical approaches I pull from often are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strengths-Based Approaches, Mindfulness Approaches, and the Stages of Change Model. If you have more questions about my approach, feel free to ask when you schedule your consultation.

How can I pay for my session?
It is company policy that clients keep a valid credit card on file. There are options to enroll in auto-pay where a small processing fee will apply. If you are an insurance client, your estimated co-pay will be discussed prior to your intake session.
What is the fee for services?
$120 is the standard self-pay rate for a 45 - 50 minute session. $140 is the standard self-pay rate for a one-time, up to 60 minute, intake appointment. Fees for service do not include the electronic payment processing fee. Your financial responsibility may look different if you are an insurance client.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, Growth-Centered Therapy, LLC is taking: Aetna & Optum insurances. These rates will vary from self-pay rates.
What is the cancellation policy?
24 hours notice is required for session cancellations or rescheduling. Clients who do not give proper notice will be billed for the full amount of their missed session.
Are sessions in person or online (teletherapy)?
At this time, my services are provided on a fully-virtual platform. This means that all sessions are conducted via secured video chat.
